Assignment/Activities Today

• Chapter 2 – Data in Science
• Section 1 – Tools and Models in Science
• Key Concept  Scientists use tools and models to increase their ability to investigate the natural world
  • Tools are used to make accurate measurements while collecting data
• Complete & Turn in Lab – Microscope Skills
  • Analysis/Conclusion
  • Part 2 – Microscope Stations
  • 15 stations are set up around the room.  Students will visit each one for 4 minutes before moving on to the next.
  • Students will sketch what they observe in the microscope eyepiece
    • Each sketch will have the station number as well as objective power listed
• BrainPOP Microscope Activity
  • Complete the assigned activity in your MyBrainPOP account
• If Incomplete BrainPOP – Microscopes (watch the video, take the quiz and submit to Mr. Hodder the results)
• If Incomplete BrainPOP Game Quiz – Using the Microscope (watch the video, take the quiz and submit to Mr. Hodder the results)
